How to build your “garden” immersion

Here’s how to make this charming immersion, see the recipe card below for print instructions.

  1. Spread the immersion in a shallow rectangular dish to imitate a garden bed. Use the back of a spoon to smooth it evenly.
  2. Sprinkle toasted Panko On top, to shape your “dirt” layer. The pancot is toasted with a little olive oil, salt, cumin and black sesame seeds in a small pan until golden brown.
  3. Decorate with raw vegetables: Consider that baby carrots with their tips are still included, radishes or trimmed green beans, mini sticks of cucumbers, cherry tomatoes with leaves that are still included, cauliflower or broccoli flowers. The options are endless, just keep it colorful. Arrange them in small rows as if you are planting your spring garden.
  4. Optional touches: Add edible flowers or fresh herbal branches to complete the look.

Generally: 50 minutes

Yield: 8 portions

Size serving: 1 /4 cup

  • Soak a glass of toast in water for a minimum of 30 minutes, but until overnight, then drain and discard the water.

  • Add soaked cashew, basil, parsley, dill, garlic, lemon peel and juice, yogurt and 1 ¼ teaspoons of salt to a blender. Mix until smooth. Transfer to shallow serving dish and spread, preferably a rectangular shape of about 8 x 6 inches. Refrigerator for placement (minimum 15 minutes, but up to one night!) Or freeze for 10 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, do the dirt: Cut the remaining 1 tablespoon of cashew very fine. Add to a small sauer pan with medium low heat with olive oil, cumin, black sesame seeds, panco breadcrumbs and a teaspoon of salt remained. Bake, stirring constantly until golden and dirt, about 3 to 4 minutes, carefully not burn. Transfer to a bowl so that it does not continue to brown.

  • Immerse the goddess immerse crudites crumbs and lines in rows to look like a garden! For the best results, so that they do not fall, cut the bottom of the vegetables so that they are flat, not too tall so that they do not target. Vegetables like tomatoes, cauliflower flowers and broccoli flowers are less vain than higher vegetables like cucumbers.
