Easy Chocolate Protein Smoothie
I love JuicesI think it’s a great way to pack your meal or snack with nutrients. Plus, there are Too much Different varieties. Tropical, berry, peanut butter, green, chocolate… the list goes on.
This smoothie made with almond butter and chocolate is one of my favorite smoothies. It tastes like… Salted Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Cupsbut you can only eat it for breakfast. But if you want to eat almond butter cups only for breakfast, I won’t judge you! 😉
This delicious smoothie is quick, healthy, dairy-free, Paleo-friendly, and seriously delicious!
Required Ingredients
- Milk: I use almond milk, but feel free to use regular whole milk, skim milk, or any non-dairy milk of your choice.
- Protein powder: Look for a whey protein powder made from grass-fed cows’ milk, or whatever you prefer! Or, to keep your smoothie dairy-free, use a vegan chocolate protein powder.
- banana: Frozen bananas are key! You can freeze your own bananas or buy pre-frozen bananas from the store.
- Chocolate: Adding a little chopped chocolate gives the smoothie a rich, chocolatey flavor. It’s optional, but worth it!
- Almond butter: I use creamy almond butter. Feel free to use whatever brand you prefer.
- Honey or maple syrup: For a little natural sweetness.
- Cinnamon: Cinnamon gives the juice a light sweet flavor and an extra layer of flavor.
