ingredients
- 2 cups cold filtered water
- 1 scoop of Glow Greens™ Powder
- 7 cups chopped spinach – about a medium bunch
- 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce – about a small head
- 1 1/2 cups chopped celery – about 2 medium stalks
- 1 medium apple, cored and coarsely chopped
- 1 medium pear, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 11 medium banana, peeled and cut into thirds
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro stems (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley stalks (optional)
Directions
Combine Glow Greens™ powder, spinach, romaine lettuce and water in a blender and begin processing on low speed. Gradually increase to higher speeds and blend until smooth.
Next, add the celery, apple, pear, cilantro, and parsley (if using). Finally, add the banana, lemon juice, and ice (if using) and blend until smooth. Serve immediately or refrigerate covered for up to 2 1/2-3 days.
